Dude got for stealing laptop during last week's IT show.

I'm not sure to laugh at this theif's act or to pity for being tied up like that and got his picture taken of to show it to many others whose reading the article right at this very moment or later on, whatever.

The security guard whose in the picture with the theif looked like he was very proud for catching him. Like a fisherman whose out in the sea for 3 months, came back with a 50 feet long, 800 pounds shark.

Ok. 'am exaggerating with the size of the shark, but you roughly get my idea. Do you? ..Nevermind.

I know alot of you would say stuff like "Yeah that dude deserve to be shamed by public for committing such an act."

Somehow, I pity this guy. I mean, yeah, he did wrong for stealing a laptop. But I dont think he deserve anything like that.

By tying him up, making him sit at the IT show area.. People throwing paper balls and jeering at him.

If I am the theif..

I wont even know what to do, prolly tryna find a hole whole and hide in there for the rest of my life or bury my head somewhere like an ostrich.

Back to the proud security guard, according to the article.. He is not one of the staff of Suntec City. The security guard is hired by the event organiser, itself. Bla~

If so, I guess, just tie that that dude up, bring him to the office or anywhere, call the cops and let the cops deal with it. Why do that?

Come on, if it's your son/ daughter who had committed such a crime, would you want something like that to happen to them?

Getting the public to jeer at him/ her. Paper balls thrown at him/ her. I don't think so.

Thou you would answer me right now with something like "Yeah, I wld let the public humiliate him/ her. If he/ she did commit a crime like this.."

That's what you say initially, wait till you see a picture like this on a site/ newspaper. You wld think twice or thrice...

Even with his/ her face, blurred.
