zzzzzzzzzzzz.
So like today, I am scheduled to work at 2pm tomorrow.
Normally, I would be more than happy to be working at 2pm cos I can sleep in later and things like that. But not these days! No difference to be working at 2pm, 3pm.. Even my schedule starts at 5pm(which will never happen.) There isnt much difference.. Why? You asked. Tell me, how is it possible to fall asleep when there are construction works being carried out, not anywhere, BUT DIRECTLY OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM. You tell me?! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which is sooooooooooooooooooooo, sickening.. Construction works, meaning.. The lift upgrading work which is going on around my neighbourhood now till god knows when, meaning.. I wld be losing my sleep after 8am every single day till FURTHER NOTICE. Yes, the lift wld be built directly outside my room, so there for all the hammering and drilling wld be heard directly outside my room. Even if I close all the windows, I can still hear noises of such. Addition & creation to noise pollution if you ask me.. & for someone like ME who would only fall asleep after 2am or later in the night will not wake up till the clock strikes 12noon or later... UNLESS I HAVE TO wake up before 10am, that can be excused. Is anyone around my neighbourhood lodging a complaint about this issue? I don't think so, cos town council wld prolly say stuff like "Any inconvenience caused is regretted." or something like that. Feeling all groggy with my head heavy as hell. Dang! I HATE LIFT UPGRADING.. The lifts at my block is doing well, I dont see why you needa upgrade it. Cos now, it goes to every level of the block? Thats the only advantage of the upgrade, I see, other than that. I see nothing exciting about the upgrade. Maybe promoting residents to be more lazy, encouraging to take the lift more often. Thou, I know this new lift system is targeted towards people who are handicapped of that sort, if you get me. But other than that? Promoting fellow residents to be more lazy and taking lifts more frequently.. I see residents at my grandma's block, even if they stay on the 2nd floor, they take the lift too. -_- What the fuck, I know. Maybe I wld do that too. But that's not the point.... BUT IM TOO PISSED RIGHT NOW. Zz.. Taking away my sleep. Besides that, my room gets all dusty everytime they start drilling. No matter how many times I sweep and mop the floor the dust wld just start floating it's way into my room again! Before I left to work this afternoon, I walked past my room to look at my room windows, you'll not imagine how much dust were stuck on my window. Grossed out, seriously.. ** So fellow Singaporeans, in future, if you're planning to get your own HDB flat. Bear this in mind.. 1. Don't get units along the corridor. -Not only you get your kaypoh neighbours looking into your apartment, oh-so-frequently.. Like it's a trip to SIngapore History Museum. - You wont hear your neighbour's kids screaming their lungs off. 2. Get a unit of a fully furnished block and yes, fully-equipped too. - So you dont needa cast votes after a couple of years living at your block, asking whether you support the idea of lift upgrades or any upgrades. Duh, eventually town council is gonna do the upgrades, so why ask?! -_- - You wont get a headache having dusty rooms with dusty furnitures in there and what not. If again, your unit is by the corridor and suay enough, your room is by the corridor too. ** Imma victim of the above, of cos based by years of experience, I know what I am talking about. NOT FUNNY! ** The End. |
